Senior Operations Manager
Since 2018, Voi has been on a mission to create safe, sustainable and reliable micromobility for everyone. To ensure continued efficiency we are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to drive the development, implementation and adherence to standardisations and continuous improvements across our Norwegian Market. YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in the Norwegian market, overseeing priorities and shaping the agenda for micromobility. You will combine an analytical and strategic perspective to identify and address operational performance gaps across the market. Together with the market leadership team, you will ensure optimal utilisation of our fleet, negotiate compliant terms with external service providers and strive to achieve the goals set by the General Manager. Ultimately, your aim is to deliver a best-in-class micromobility service that delights our customers. This will include:
- Setting operational targets and managing performance at a city-level to hit our P&L goals and drive performance of key KPIs across market to offer a best in class service
- Collaborating with external stakeholders such as city officials together with our public policy team to improve terms and conditions of our services
- Leveraging data and analytics to optimise performance across key metrics around scooter utilisation, fleet management and overall operational efficiency
- Facilitating and managing cross-functional collaboration to ensure that operational expertise and best practices are effectively applied across the market
- Continuously working to gain a deep understanding of the operational complexity, staying attuned with operational trends and innovations, and act as a role model for operational best practices and continuous improvement across the market
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for an independent and analytical problem solver with the ability to manage multiple change initiatives, build trust and communicate operational insight effectively to a diverse group of stakeholders. In addition to being professionally fluent in English and Norwegian, we believe the right person has:
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree in engineering, business, finance or similar
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in operations, strategy, consulting or a growth start-up environment with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Proficiency in tools such as G-Suite and MS Office. You are very comfortable working with and analysing large data sets.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools such as SQL, Tableau, Metabase, PowerBI.
- Experience in analysis of operational data, data-based prioritisation and operational performance monitoring
- Experience from managing multiple projects, senior stakeholders and making hard prioritisations
- Strong knowledge of operational processes and continuous improvement
