#EmployeeVoices - Partner Operations Manager
At Voi, we understand the importance of providing our employees with opportunities to grow and develop their careers within the same organisation. That's why we offer #InternalMobility, enabling our employees to move between roles and departments. Today, we want to highlight the journey of Pauline Charrier, who began her journey with us as a Policy Development Manager and has since transitioned into a new role as a Partner Operations Manager. Let’s dive in!
Tell us more about what you do as a Partner Operations Manager?
I recently switched roles within Voi! After having worked within our Tender team at Voi for a while, focusing on Southern Europe countries, I recently joined the R&D department as a Partner Operations Manager. A challenging, yet exciting change! I am the company’s central point of contact when it comes to DataSharing and Integrations. This new role is very much at the intersection of product management, public policy and account management, with the purpose of driving beneficial relationships to, for example, public transport operators and MaaS providers. I am a few months into the role and I am learning a lot, especially on the technical aspect of it. Having the chance to change positions within Voi through internal mobility has been a great experience and opportunity!
What inspired you to pursue a career in your field?
My main background is in Public Policy, with a Social Innovation twist to it. I have worked several years in French diplomacy. In fact, it was my job at the French embassy in Stockholm, as an Innovation and Transport Attaché, that brought me to Sweden. My main responsibility was to foster bilateral cooperation between France and Sweden in these fields. The years I have spent in that job have truly been inspirational and enriching. It motivated me to take a more active role at the crossroads of Innovation and Transport, and join a company that is leading the change everyday on the field.
Tell us about a time in the last week when you’ve been satisfied, energised, and productive at work. What were you doing?
I am a big believer in the power of the TEAM. I love bouncing ideas around with my colleagues. Any session where my team faces a problem that we have to crack together leaves me with a high energy boost… especially when we find a good solution to it ;) Right now I have so much to learn about Tech and Product Management and my teammates are the best at guiding me through.
What’s the most interesting thing about you that’s not on your resume?
When I’m not riding a Voi, I spend a lot of time either eating or exercising (one has to balance…). My main sport is archery: I have practiced for 17 years and my bow and arrows have followed me around the world in France, the US, New Zealand… and now in Sweden. I cannot wait for the summer season to kickoff! 🏹
