Sustainability Intern
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As Sustainability Intern you will support the Head of Sustainability in the implementation of Voi’s sustainability strategy as well as the monitoring and reporting of Voi’s sustainability performance. In this role you will collect, analyse and structure sustainability data for carbon footprint evaluation, reports and other communication, and drive improved automatisation for the data collection process. In addition to this you will collaborate closely with the rest of the team to analyse compliance gaps, sustainability related risks, suggest improvements in current practices, and contribute to various sustainability projects within Voi. This will include:
- Collecting sustainability impact information from internal and external stakeholders using questionnaires, interviews workshops, and review data to ensure accuracy in reporting.
- Proposing sustainability metrics to drive change and track progress.
- Organising environmental impact data to ensure consistency and reliability across sustainability metrics.
- Setting up tracking systems for recurring sustainability data collection and ensuring the process is well-documented and automated.
- Supporting in benchmarking sustainability practices against industry standards and competitors.
- Helping in the preparation of sustainability reports and other sustainability communication.
- Assisting in updating carbon footprint baseline and monitoring of progress.
- Updating the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) with the latest Bill of Materials data, including Excel work and model building.
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for a structured, detail- and solution oriented student, eager to collaborate and have a direct impact in a fast-paced dynamic environment, and build hands-on experience in the sustainability field. In addition to being fluent in English, we believe the right person has:
- Ongoing studies for a M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering, finance or business, with a minimum of 1 year left until graduation. Specialisation in sustainability is a merit.
- Excellent analytical and communication skill.
- Previous experience in sustainability related initiatives or sustainability related studies is a merit.
