3PL Manager
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As Local Third Party (3P) Manager, you will own the day-to-day relationship and performance of the third party logistics providers (3PLs) that keep Voi's fleet moving across London. Reporting to the Senior Fleet Manager and based at our Kentish Town site, you will be each 3PL's main point of contact and coach. It is a brand-new role, and a hands-on one — you will help shape how Voi works with its 3PLs as London grows. In this role, you will:
Lead regular conversations with each 3PL to align on performance, issues and the key actions needed to improve — tracking agreed actions to completion and escalating to the Senior Fleet Manager where performance does not improve
Managing daily 3PL requests and keeping partners up to date on software and process changes
Reviewing each partner's forecasted workload and agreeing a clear plan to meet it, with the right action point in place / people, vans and chargers in place
Contributing to full-year planning and monthly forecasting of 3PL capacity alongside our central operations team
Auditing 3PL locations against our health & safety standards and following corrective actions through to completion
Reviewing 3PL invoices so payments reflect the work delivered, applying penalties or bonuses against agreed targets
Onboarding and training new 3PLs on our processes, tools, quality standards and H&S requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for a hands-on, organised relationship-builder who is as comfortable coaching a partner as reading the data behind their performance, and who picks up a new operation quickly. We believe the right person has:
3+ years in logistics, operations, mobility or another fast-paced operational environment
Experience with 3PL partners or supplier management
Experience managing stakeholders and working cross-functionally with other teams
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
Strong project management skills and end-to-end ownership
Experience tracking, reading and reporting on KPIs
Curiosity about new technology and AI, and confidence using digital tools to streamline your daily work
A Bachelor's degree in logistics, business, engineering or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
Don't meet every requirement? If you are excited about this role and our mission, and have relevant, transferable skills, we encourage you to apply - even if you don't check every box.
