Senior Data Engineer
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As a Senior Data Engineer at Voi, you design, build, and operationalise data-intensive systems to support micro-mobility insights and operations. Your responsibilities include building data pipelines, sourcing, and integrating, internal and external data, and performing ELT processes. You will also develop data products to enhance analytics and operational efficiency. We’re looking for a T-shaped data engineer who works across data engineering and analytics while also supporting and contributing to adjacent fields like backend engineering and machine learning. In summary, the role will include:
- ELT and building data products and data modelling from both internal and external sources
- Exploratory data analysis in the area of micro mobility intelligence
- Be a driver for data quality, data governance and data product thinking
- Participate in designing Voi’s common data architecture
- You will work closely with product and machine learning,
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We’re looking for a highly collaborative Senior Data Engineer with experience from multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. This might be you if you strive for engineering excellence in everything you do and if you are not afraid of new ideas and technology. To have the best possible start with us, we believe the right person has:
- Documented extensive experience in a data pipelining, data engineering, or data architect role
- You have extensive experience with SQL, and have most likely worked with Python or other relevant languages
- Experience developing on public cloud platforms, e.g. GCP
- You have worked with data warehouses such as e.g. Snowflake, Redshift or Big Query
- You are experienced in modern data tools such as Airflow and DBT
