Senior Product Manager (Vehicles)
YOUR MISSION AT VOI
As the Senior Product Manager (Vehicles) you will lead Voi towards the future product generations of vehicles, including e-bikes, e-scooters and more. By combining business understanding, customer knowledge and data analysis you will set and execute the strategy that builds the future vehicle experience and play a crucial role in pushing the company further towards our product vision and overarching mission of providing “safe, affordable and sustainable micromobility for everyone”. In this role, you report directly to our VP Product and collaborate cross-functionally with ambitious coworkers across the R&D- and business functions to bring a customer-first mindset to vehicle innovation across the organisation and external suppliers. This will include:
- Building deep understanding of customer needs, city requirements and operations economics to synthesise insights for the strategic development of our vehicles and hardware
- Using customer insights, data and competitor intelligence to develop the vehicle strategy and make prioritizations that guide decision making internally and for our suppliers
- Setting a compelling vehicle vision, building the underlying strategy and driving execution to make it a reality
- Collaborating closely with our external suppliers, working continuously to develop the relationship and guiding them towards the development initiatives with the highest impact for our riders, the cities and our operations. This will include regular onsite visits to suppliers in e.g. China
- Working continuously with our internal teams to improve cross-functional collaboration, a customer-first mindset and push the company further towards our product vision and overarching mission of providing “safe, affordable and sustainable micromobility for everyone”
WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK
We are looking for an ambitious, customer obsessed and business minded product professional eager to go deep across data, customers, business and engineering in collaboration with likeminded coworkers in a fast-paced environment. In addition to being professionally fluent in English, we believe the right person has:
- Bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering, physics, data, engineering, business or equivalent
- Several years of experience working in product management, and we value additional enriching experience such as strategy, business management, user research, analytics and engineering. Experience with hardware development is a merit.
- Experience from successfully driving complex, high-impact, multi-stakeholder projects
- Experience from collaborating and driving change with external suppliers is a merit
