- What does a Head of Fleet Operations at Voi do?

At the Fleet Operations team, we make sure that every single Voi is ready for our riders everyday around-the-clock - charged, serviced and placed in the most appropriate areas. As a central team, we create products, processes and tools at a global level aimed at helping our drivers and market teams achieve their goals. It's a lot about working both with logistic partners and Voi’s own in-house fleet teams.

- What do you enjoy the most about your job?

I love seeing the work that we do every day having a real world impact. Whether it’s working remotely on the business front, watching our KPIs head in the right direction, being in-field, spending time with drivers, listening and learning new insights about the business that we can take away to implement at a global level... it's all is very rewarding!

- What advice would you give to those that are curious about entering your field of work?

I know there are lots of people with different backgrounds who are curious about operations, but perhaps have doubts if their skill sets will be a good fit. Having been part of the industry for a while, I’d definitely recommend jumping in to give it a try. Operations is challenging, but it’s also incredibly fun and dynamic. You see the hard work pay off.

Once you break in - I recommend building connections with market teams – they’re the best partners you can have and their first-hand experience is priceless. Best of luck!

- What company achievement are you the most proud of?

I'm extremely proud of the safety efforts that Voi is taking. This includes numerous safety events in collaboration with cities and of course the international “Let’s Get It Right” safety campaign launched earlier this year (did you know that the campaign is nominated as a finalist in the Swedish Design Awards? - Tell us about a summer highlight of yours?

One of the most memorable moments this summer was the brännboll game with my team in Stockholm (it’s a game with similarities to baseball). This is the first time I learned about this sport and I'm very happy that with Voi, I’m learning all things Swedish – it’s a lot of fun! 🇸🇪

- What's your go-to place in Stockholm (with a Voi)?

Oh, that would definitely be the gelato shop “Snö” in the area Vasastan. Their browned butter ice cream is out of this world - give it a try! 🍦
